The VAMPIRE Child

Today Dakota was wrestling with the boys and one of them cut him on the side of his face with their finger nail (its only a scratch). Dakota was lying on the love sac and Bella was walking by and noticed that he had an awey. She walked over to him and stood there for a few minutes looking at it, So Dakota just laid there to let her examine it. Then all the sudden she held his head down with one hand and with the other hand held out a little finger and touched his cut then put her finger in her mouth! YA Disgusting!!! She is a Vampire child!!!

Baby Scare!

I guess since it has been over a month now I am able to tell this story. I was too emotional for me to even write about it but now that I have had another doctors appointment and I know my baby boy is ok, I'm ok. So about a month ago I went to my baby appointment and I felt fine, everything was going well. When the doctor came into the room to listen to the heart beat, there was none. I thought to myself its going to be ok, but I couldn't help but to bust into tears...not knowing what was going on. We went into the other room and looked at the heart on an ultrasound machine and the little heart was barley moving. The only thing I could think of at the time was, at least its still moving, but still crying. We watched it for awhile and it wouldn't pick up the past. Thank goodness my older sister was there to hold my hand through all this...and also it was a blessing having her kids home watching mine. It would have been too hard to handle by myself and even harder with 3 more kids on top of the bad news. We were sent to the hospital to see a ultrasound professional. She worked on me for about an hour and the heart picked up and he was moving and seemed like nothing was wrong. I was so happy but still really scared...and so was my doctor. Dakota showed up to hear that he was having another boy (from my older sister) and that he seemed to be doing fine. We all wanted to find out why this happened and if it was going to happen again or if this was going to be a problem. My doctor set up to go see a high risk ultrasound professional/heart specialist a few days later and once again everything looked fine then too.. I, of course, had to go see my doctor the next day just to hear the heart beating and it was normal. I was so happy, but still worried. But now that it has been a month and I feel him moving all the time and went to the doctor again and everything seems to be doing great, I am less worried. So here we go...over half way done and cant wait to meet the little guy!

My Eternal Family

For Christmas our primary in our ward put these fun things together for each child. They were wooden picture holders with "My Eternal Family" on the front of it. And then they took a picture of each family and printed it off to put into the picture holder. I thought that was suck a wonderful idea for the children to know that we are an Eternal Family and they are reminded everyday when they look at it. Ammon of course put the picture up right away. I took Micaiah's and placed it in our living room by the table, not only to remind the children but for me too. I love my family so much and I am so happy we are an eternal family. I get to keep them forever and ever. I can't imagine what my life would be like with out the Eternal Plan.

Sister's

I have come to the conclusion that nothing compares to sisterhood! Having two sisters, one younger and one older, I could never ask for anything more! My younger sister is an amazing, fun spirited, free loving individual. She is fun to be around, she always make's a situation brighter. She is fun to listen to when she has boy problems and even girl problems, it reminds me of why I love being married so much!
My older sister has one of the biggest hearts I have ever met. She is so caring and understanding. She gives all that she has to make you feel loved and comfortable. I can talk to her about anything and she does not judge me or anyone else.
Having the advantage of being in the middle, I get to experience being a little sister and a big sister. I get the best of both worlds!

Pushy pushy!

This last Sunday we were sitting in sacrament meeting and Bella and Micaiah were sitting on the same side together, next to Dakota. Micaiah was sitting on the outside of the bench and Bella was on the inside next to the back rest of the bench. Bella was pushing Micaiah, and he was getting really mad at her. He turned around and looked at her and yelled, "Don't Push me Bella!" She pushed him even harder and off the bench he went. He cried a little, but then he got to sit on daddy's lap! It was actually one of the funniest things I have seen her do to him.

Chocolate dot

My little Micaiah was putting on his pants the other day and found a freckle on the side of his bum. He ran to me and said "look mommy a chocolate dot!" I laughed so hard. So later that day when Dakota came home he took off his pants to show daddy his chocolate dot! Dakota told him he got that from eating so much chocolate. Because to tell you the truth Micaiah eats only chocolate...chocolate milk, chocolate muffins, chocolate pancakes...yep that is how I get my son to eat anything any more. So Micaiah came up with a wonderful idea, "I want to eat my chocolate dot!" Dakota told him he was not able to, it was part of his body and he cried and cried. So every day since then he say's "I want to eat my chocolate dot!" and he finds out he is not able to. We have to pull out some chocolate chips for him to feel somewhat satisfied without the chocolate dot.

Ammon is a member

It came and went so fast. But it happened, Ammon is a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints!! He is so excited too. The next day when the bishop announced to everyone that he was the newest member of the ward he was so happy! Well, now he knows if he does anything bad he is held accountable for EVERYTHING! :)It was a very nice baptism. Suzanne (mother-in-law) and Ana (sister-in-law) were able to come down from Seattle and spend a few days with us. It was a very nice visit, we had lots of fun. Grandma gave a talk about the Holy Ghost and I gave the talk about baptism. Ana sang Ammon's favorite song "Love one another", and she did a wonderful job. I enjoyed every minute of it. My sister Summer and brother Ryan were there and a few other people from the ward.
But now with his new scriptures in hand, we have been reading every day together. And how wonderful it is to have scriptures in our life to help us and guide us. Its funny, I remember when I started reading the scriptures and the fun words you had to figure out the meaning of them and how to read them the right way so they mean what they are supposed to mean. Its fun just listening to him and then asking him what he got out of that scripture. Understanding comes with patients and lots of practice.I am so proud of Ammon. He loves the gospel so much and I pray it will stay that way for the rest of his life. He has such a strong testimony and he knows the church is true. He is a special one. After the interview with the bishop, the bishop came up to me and told me, "Ammon is very unique and very spiritual!"

Kute Kids

Ammon will be turning 8 in two weeks. He will be getting baptized in 3 weeks! we are so excited for him. He is a very spiritual person who loves the gospel with all his heart. He helps me so much around the house and with his brother and sister. I don't know how I would do it without him some days! He does funny things too. Lately he thinks its funny to trip his brother. It would be fine if his little brother was not 3. I understand boys have to be boys. But he can really hurt him being 5 years older then him. But he plays nice too! lol.
Micaiah loves to stay up as late as he can. He comes out at least 3 times after putting him in bed. My favorites excuses are: "I need a drink", "I want to do something else", "Story time", "I'm hungry", or he will get up to go to the bathroom many times. One night Dakota could not sleep so he went out to play on the computer. At the time we had a kid tent up, Bella likes to play in it, Dakota looked over in that direction and saw a pair of eyes in the tent! I think it really scared him. two things went through his head! 1, this is really going to mess me up! 2, or is that Micaiah? and it was Micaiah. It was so funny when I came out to see them two eating carrots and dip and watching a movie together at 12:30. They are crazy! Son like father.Isabella is a doll! She is so much fun to have around. The funniest thing is that she can hold her own when it comes to Micaiah. Sometimes she can get into more trouble then he does. She goes up to him and hits him across the face, and then laughs! Its so hard not to laugh myself but I can't or she will keep doing it. She loves belly buttons. It drives me crazy because all she wants to do is put her little finger in there and play. Its just not the most pleasant thing. But she cries if you don't let her play. Sometimes the only way she will go to sleep is if she is playing with your belly button. It needs to stop!!I love my little kids and the fun things they do! I can't wait to add another one to the mix! Boy or girl? people ask me. But now that I have a girl I don't mind either way! A girl may be harder when Bella and her are fighting over the same boy or "why is she waring my clothes?" but either way it will be an adventure I'm willing to take! Like I always say "Bring it on!"

New Baby!

Here we go! Number 4! Can I do it? I seem to ask myself every morning when I wake up. They always say once you have three you can have as many as you want. Well I guess it will be my turn to tell you if that is true or not. I have always wanted a big family and at a time in my life I thought I would only have one. So 4 is a miracle in so many ways. I am nervous only because we are not settled really, with just moving and still in an apartment and wanting a house so badly. I feel we have so much to do before this little one comes. It always bothered me when people would say when we have money, we will have children. And here I am saying something similar....They come when they are supposed to come right!?! I am so happy to have a little one on the way. That wonderful feeling you get when you bring your little baby home for the first time. The little spirit, the closeness you get with your husband and your family. How fun!!! August 21st is my due date. Having a Summer baby is odd to me since my other 3 were born in December, January and February! so this summer should be fun being all fat and HOT and sweaty and miserable. But that day I get to come home with that little one in my arms will be so worth every minute!
